When briefed to redesign the ground floor kitchen and dining area of a property, a more unconventional approach was taken beyond a typical Victorian house conversion.

The new extension leaves a courtyard between the house and the extension, giving the impression that the dining area is set between two gardens. The courtyard and garden are connected with the installation of a planted wall and planted screens.
